Interior Window Cleaning on Cleveland's west side
Exterior glass is what the street sees. Interior glass is what you see, every day, from your own sofa. Fingerprints, cooking film, dog noses and the dust that settles on a sill all sit on the inside, and no amount of outside work touches them.
Interior work is slower and more careful than exterior work, so we price it separately and per pane. It is normally booked onto the same visit as an exterior clean, which is cheaper than having us out twice.
How we do it
- 01
Protect first
Shoe covers on, drop cloths down, and anything on the sill moved by us and put back where it was.
- 02
Clean by hand
Inside glass is done by hand rather than with a pole, because there is no rinsing indoors and no room for error.
- 03
Sills and tracks
The sill wiped and the track cleared, which is where the dirt you can actually feel lives.
- 04
Check and tidy
We look at each pane against the light before moving on, and everything goes back where we found it.
What the job includes
- Priced per pane, quoted before we start
- Shoe covers and drop cloths as standard
- Sills wiped and tracks cleared
- Ornaments and blinds moved and replaced by us
- Best value booked onto the same visit as an exterior clean
- Ground floor and upstairs, wherever we can safely reach

FAQs about interior window cleaning
The questions we actually get asked about this service.
01Can I book interior on its own?
Yes, though most people do not. Interior on its own means a trip out for a smaller job, so it prices higher per pane than the same work added to an exterior visit. If you want both, book them together and it costs less.
02Do I need to be home?
Yes, for interior work. Exterior cleaning does not need you there, but somebody has to let us in for the inside. We will give you a time window rather than a vague day.
03Will you move my things?
We will move what is on the sill and put it back exactly where it was. We would rather you moved anything genuinely precious or fragile yourself before we arrive, and we will say so when we book.
04What about blinds and curtains?
Blinds get lifted and lowered as needed, curtains get moved aside. We are not cleaning the blinds themselves unless you ask, and that is quoted separately.
05Do you clean the inside with purified water too?
No. Purified water works outdoors because the glass air dries with nothing left on it. Indoors there is nowhere for that water to go, so interior glass is cleaned by hand and dried properly.
06How often is worth doing?
Once a year suits most homes, usually booked with a spring exterior clean. Kitchens and rooms with a wood burner benefit from twice.
