Purified Wash started in Rocky River with a pole, a tank and a list of neighbors. The pitch then is the pitch now: answer the phone, show up when you said you would, do the job properly and stand behind it.

Why purified water

Most window cleaners use soap and a squeegee, and the minerals in tap water dry on the glass as spots. We run our water through a four stage purification system that strips those minerals out, which means the glass dries on its own with nothing left behind. It also means we can reach the second story from the ground instead of leaning a ladder against your house.

For siding and roofs we soft wash: a cleaning solution applied at low pressure that kills algae and mildew at the root instead of blasting the visible layer off. It is gentler on your property, your plants get soaked before and rinsed after, and the result lasts years instead of a season.

West side, for life

Stephen Cain, who founded Purified Wash, has always lived on Cleveland's west side. The company started in Rocky River and still works from there, cleaning homes in the towns Stephen grew up around: Rocky River, Westlake, Bay Village, Lakewood, Fairview Park and the rest of the west side.

That is why the work is done the way it is. No soap on the glass, nothing dumped in the beds, no high pressure on a neighbor's siding, and a straight answer about what a house actually needs.

Our humanitarian mission

Purified Wash gives part of every year's proceeds to Charity Water, which funds clean water projects for communities that do not have it. Our first gift, a four figure donation, went out in September 2026, and the goal is for it to grow every year the business does.

Quoted in person, often done the same visit

We do not quote houses over the phone. We come out, walk the property and give you an exact price on the spot, so nobody prices your home sight unseen. When the job fits the day, we can usually do the work right then, which saves you a second appointment. Nothing gets handed to a subcontractor who has never heard of us.

The work is done by our own crew, using our methods and our equipment. Whoever is on your property is trained on our methods, and every job is backed by the same guarantee.
